Halo released Infinite, and some players have reported the DCAT Resource bug error message “DCAT resource not found.” Because of this, players have encountered the Blue Screen of Death (BSoD). It is not a common problem, the following reports suggested it mostly occurs with PC, Xbox players.
How to Fix the DCAT Resource Not Found
Before proceeding with the troubleshooting, ensure that you have updated your game to the latest version, with the recent hotfix this issue is been addressed. After updating, if you still having the issue then you can follow the following instructions mentioned down below.
- Open Steam and then head over to Steam Library
- Next, Right-click on the Halo Infinite
- From there, Choose Local Files tab
- After that, It opens the new window from there select the “Verify Integrity of Game Files” option.
- That’s it!
If you’re playing Halo Infinite on Xbox console or with Xbox Game Pass on PC, then by restarting you can fix this. After restarting check if there are any pending updates. Else, check if the Firewall is restricting the access or you can try reinstalling the game.
