Crystal, the codename for the upcoming Final Fantasy XVI, is reportedly coming next year in June. The Snitch, a reliable leaker, shared information in a post about the next Final Fantasy sequel. Square Enix has already confirmed the launch of the game next summer.
The company also confirmed the game would be exclusive to the PlayStation 5 during its initial six months and later come to other platforms.

The game is likely to be announced at The Game Awards, whereas a previous report suggested the game is most likely to go on pre-order by the end of this year. Game Producer Naoki Yoshida was going to attend The Game Award this year, and after all, the game received the rating in Brazil this week.

“We plan to release the information again later this year, so I think we can say it at that time.” I don’t think it will be over the summer, so I think it’s okay (laughs). Naoki Yoshida said during Japanese Magazine Famitsu interview.
I swear to god the next time we hear about FF16 it’s gonna say something like “releasing in 1 month” or something LMAO

Also thank you to @DENGOJIN for the heads up on this article!
Meanwhile, as the report suggested, the dates for the game’s release are June 22, 2022, and the pre-orame would open around December 8, 2022, just after game’s launchgame.
Game developers have already confirmed that the game’s development is nearly complete. However, well-known leakers and reports begin to surface online regarding the most eagerly anticipated RPG release dates.
