We have all been very well aware that Samsung and Microsoft have been doing a lot of work together, from integrating Microsoft services into Samsung’s services and products like in OneUI, where we now have Office, OneDrive, and other services well combined, making for a seamless experience across the board. On the other hand, Microsoft has also integrated Samsung’s services into Windows, such as Phone Link, Xbox, and other services.

Both companies are trying to compete with Google and Apple to create a whole ecosystem. To strengthen the partnership, Samsung released its Samsung Pass on the Microsoft Store. If you need to know what this is, we’ll tell you that Samsung Pass is a password manager tool that helps to synchronise login information.

Download Samsung Pass from the Microsoft Store, available for Windows 10 and 11.

By providing support for users to use it even on Windows, Samsung Pass has support for iris authentication and biometric authentication, which allows you to log into your account on any website by holding your device in front of you. To enable fingerprint authentication to unlock your phone or open apps, check the settings and toggle to enable recognition for both options.

Samsung Pass has the following minimum requirements to work on Windows:

  • Windows 10 version 1903 or higher
  • TPM (Trusted Platform Module) 2.0 or higher
  • PC with Windows Hello support

Samsung has confirmed that they intend to improve compatibility even further by allowing support for Windows programs. This feature is similar to Google Autofill, iCloud Keychain, and Microsoft Autofill.
