LumaFusion has recently released for Android, and now the company has started testing its video editor software for the Chromebooks. This is currently in beta, available for everyone to download and install on their Chromebooks. LumaFusion has been downloaded over 1.1 million times with a total of 68 million projects exported since its launch across its platforms globally.

The company recently launched its video editing software on Android for $30. In order to offer LumaFusion to Chromebook users, the team has been using Crashlytics to gather data about the performance and stability of the video-editing app so that it can work smoothly by the end of the testing phase.

The developers have also looked into tweaking the audio-video composition engine, Storyline, video preview UI/UX, and the player. There are some other core components that the developers have been working on so that they can work well with Chrome OS since the hardware capabilities are completely different from iOS.

You can expect pretty much everything to work fine on the Chromebook just like how wonderfully it works on the iOS/iPadOS devices even they have won the App Store Award in 2021. The app is absolutely feature-packed with functionality similar to what iMovie has, including a touch-friendly interface and rich features like graphical effects and transitions, a powerful timeline, a project manager and so much more.

New users can get 25% off LumaFusion and 3 months of Storyblocks for LumaFusion that offers royalty-free videos, backgrounds, sound effects and music. Eligible Chromebooks also get 3 months of Nvidia GeForce Now trial. As of now, there is no great video editing software for the Chromebooks when we compare them to the MacBooks and Windows laptops, but at the same time where developers have some promising plans, Google is also trying to push the Chromebooks to please the new customers.
