Today, in this article, we will share a helpful guide on unbrick any Realme smartphone. If you encounter an error saying, “Flash or Unbrick Any Realme Phone: The current image [Boot or Recovery] has been destroyed and cannot boot,”

Please flash the correct image or contact customer service to fix it. This guide is for you. It doesn’t matter which SoC is on your device, be it MediaTek or Qualcomm, as this article will provide an in-depth guide to help you resolve the issue. Without further ado, let’s get into it.

Unbricking a Realme Device

Before proceeding, it’s imperative to note that this method requires an unlocked bootloader on your device. Your device must also be in fast boot mode, which can be accessed using the correct key combination. This method will not work on hard-bricked Realme smartphones.

Prerequisites

Before starting, you’ll need the following:

Unbrick the Realme Device Before continuing, and we would like to mention that this method requires your device to have an unlocked bootloader. Your device should also be in fast boot mode. Use the correct combination of keys for this. This won’t work on a Realme phone that has been hard-blocked.

Transfer IMG Files to ADB

After setting up ADB, open the ADB folder on the C drive and select all the IMG files you have extracted. Copy those into the ADB folder (this PC > local disc > ADB). Note: Only choose IMG files.

Fastboot Mode on a Realme Device

To enter fast boot mode on your Realme device, press the volume Up, Volume Down, and Power keys simultaneously. Ensure that your screen is off, then release the volume Up and Power keys while continuing to hold the volume Down key. Alternatively, press the Power key and immediately press the volume Down key.

Connect your mobile device to a PC:

  1. Plug your mobile device into the PC using the appropriate cable.
  2. Go to the C:adb folder.
  3. In the address bar, type “cmd” and hit enter. This will open the command prompt.
  4. Enter “fastboot devices” and enter to check if your device is connected to the PC.
  5. The serial number displayed confirms that your device is connected.
  6. Enter “fastboot flash boot [filename]” and drag the IMG file into the Command Prompt for each IMG file, then hit enter. Repeat this process for all IMG files (e.g., “fastboot flash cache “fastboot flash drive [filename]”).
  7. If any IMG files fail to flash, don’t worry. Flash the remaining files in the following order: “fastboot flash dtbo [filename]”, “fastboot flash odm [filename]”, and “fastboot flash opporeserve2 [filename]”.

  1. Repeat the flash process for “fastboot flash recovery [filename],” “fastboot flash persist [filename],” and any other remaining files.
  2. After flashing all the files, insert the SD card (with the OZIP file of your device copied to it) into your mobile device.
  3. Press the Volume Down key to change modes and the Power key to confirm or enter.
  4. Go to “Install from Storage,” choose the SD card, and select the OZIP file to instal the latest firmware.
  5. After completion, click OK. From the Realme UI recovery, click “Wipe data” and enter the code.
  6. Click “Format,” then OK, and your device should reboot.
  7. That’s it!

Now you can start by selecting the language and using your Realme smartphone.

Troubleshooting: Open Command Prompt from the adb folder if your device is not entering fastboot.Type “fastboot flash boot [filename]” and drag the boot.img file into the Command Prompt. Hit Enter. Then press all three buttons on your device. When the screen goes black, press the volume down button, and your device will enter fastboot or adb. You can then continue flashing the files.
