They are still compatible with the latest version of Android, which was originally based on the LSPlant Project. The Magisk Module provides a way to hook into the ART runtime, which allows it to support the latest version of Android that the original Xposed Framework doesn’t support.
If you want to use the Xposed Module without root, you can use it without root access via the VirtualXposed Project.
