Asus launched it’s one of the most anticipating smartphones, and the Asus ZenFone 8 Series includes the ZenFone 8 and ZenFone 8 Flip Globally. The device seems to be quite interesting, but due to the rise in COVID-19 cases, ASUS India delayed the launch.

This device seems to be quite promising so without further ado, let’s check this out.

Display and Design

The device comes with a Punch-hole camera cutout placed on the top of the display. Whereas it was IP68 Water and Dust Resistance. Meanwhile, the device holds a flip-camera that offers an Edge to Edge notch-less display.

It comes with a 5.9-Inch with 120Hz, and Flip comes with a 6.67-inch 90Hz AMOLED display. Both were having a Full HD+ display (1080×2400 pixel) with a 20:9 aspect ratio. Additionally, there is an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.

Camera

In terms of camera performance, the Zenfone 8 comes with a Dual Rear camera with 64MP f/1.8 Primary, 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens. As for the front, it uses the 12MP f/2.5 selfie shooter. On the other hand, Zenfone 8 Flip having a similar Camera module, expected Flp Mechanism replaces the front.

Performance

Under the hood, the device was powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Mobile Platform paired with 16GB of Ram and 256GB of onboard storage. To power, the device is equipped with a 4,000mAh and 5,000MAh battery utilizing the 30W fast charging, respectively. As for connectivity, it does support an USB Type-C, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, and 5G connectivity. The device is running on Android 11 customized stock skin out of the box.

Price and Availability

The device’s price starts at €670 (~Rs. 60,000) and €800 (~Rs. 71,000) for Europe and Taiwan. We don’t know the Indian pricing at this moment. Stay tuned for further updates.
