TikTok is beating every popular social media platform. Amazon is planning to join the game with the latest development of Social Feed in their Shopping app. The company is currently working on vertical-style photos and video feed, Powered by AI Product intelligence.

Social Feed is placed on the navigation bar, with a Diamond-Shaped icon having a product link. We have seen Amazon following the Social tactics, and they have Instagram-style posts as a part of internal adverting tools. They have also invested heavily in Live Shopping and Influencer marketing.

“We’re constantly testing new features to help make customers’ lives a little easier,” an Amazon spokesperson told TechCrunch

Product recommendations are top-rated; on TikTok, #amazonfinds have 25.6 Billion views. Affiliate links among popular creators are used to share Amazon Products to earn commission through the audience. By implementing this, Amazon’s primary goal is to have more engagement on its platform.

Social Feed exists on popular apps like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Spotify, YouTube, Netflix, and other apps. It is unknown when a company will roll out this feature on the Amazon app and be tested internally by a small number of Amazon employees.

According to Reports, This feature was tested with the codename “Inspire.” The feature will have like, share, and purchase buttons. Most of the user base of TikTok, 67% of teenagers aged between 13 to 17.
